Another exciting Year for 3F! 

 Literacy

Reading : Group work is based on the Momentum Reading Series and comprehension worksheets.  School Magazines and other resources are used during reading activities.

Writing: During Term 1 we will be looking at recounts and narratives.

Maths:

Supporting the implementation of the Stage 2 NSW Maths Curriculum, we will be using the text 'Maths Plus'.

PDHPE:

Dance program - Mondays, each Stage 2 class will participate in a dance session, let by specialist dance teachers from FITSCHOOL.  Several types of dance will be covered during the term.

HSIE:

Our school has a stage based HSIE/Science scope and sequence chart. This means that both years 3 & 4 both complete the same topics in a year.  The topic for Term 1 is 'Being Australian'.

Creative and Practical Arts:

Music - Students have a one hour music lesson each week.
